Andrew Domke

Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Andrew Domke is a professional engineer with 15 years’ work experience in geotechnical engineering and management. Andrew started his career with Ferrovial Agroman in Madrid, Spain and attended civil engineering courses at the University of Europe, Madrid. While in Spain he reviewed geotechnical field investigations and geotechnical reports from projects in Spain, Ireland, and Canada.

Between 2010 and 2014, Andrew worked on toll road expansion projects as one of two geotechnical engineers on the design/management team with FA in Dallas/Fort Worth. He gained experience in planning and supervising geotechnical investigations; conducted settlement analysis, deep foundation design, retaining wall design, soil expansion analysis, slope stability analysis, lime stabilization design, and pavement design; and developed cost estimates, change orders, and design methodologies.

In August 2014, Andrew joined Professional Service Industries (PSI) as the Austin Geotechnical Department Manager. In 2017, he was promoted to Branch manager and supervised geotechnical and materials testing operations within the Central Texas region.

Mr. Domke joined Balcones Geotechnical in March of 2022 and serves as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer.

Mr. Domke obtained a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Purdue University and Master’s degree in civil engineering from University of Texas Arlington.
