Mr. Mason’s 42 years of experience includes extensive project planning, management, coordination and training of field and laboratory technicians, sampling and logging of geotechnical soil, rock and water specimens, field and laboratory testing of construction materials (soil, concrete, steel and asphalt), and interpretation of laboratory analytical data. Mr. Mason has been responsible for everyday operations of a prominent Austin, Texas geotechnical engineering laboratory, including maintaining and updating Quality System Manuals, purchasing, maintaining and calibrating all field and laboratory equipment, reviewing plans and specifications, making personnel assignments, and serving as a general Safety Officer and Radiation Safety Officer.
